Hi, Is there a command (i.e. cadsmcmd -or- sd_acmd) that can be used on each Target endpoint that will list all of that Computer's Install records? We need to add an Install record (which we know how to do) but first want to ensure that the Install Record for that target doesn't already exist. This is a fail-safe method, just in case the script…(Show moreShow less)
Also I know you are using my backup process for installation records, which actually is a script which runs this very command for all computers and outputs to a single file, so really you can just search for the computer in the backup file, and all its records will be listed. Hi Jan, The information that our development is looking into, is when glibc is updated from 2.17-196.el7, to 2.17-222.el7 , our installer for the ITCM agent (a utility called lsm), is throwing an error. We have another CA product, CA SysEdge, where a customer has reported using the following workaround, to get the SysEdge agent installed: …
Creating the engine task for ITCM to integrate with SCCM requires the SCCM Server Name, Site ID, username and password. The SCCM administrator needs to know what role the user account needs in SCCM 2012 R2. I want to provide the least privilege possible and still obtain the data we need for HW, SW, and User inventory integration.
You can do that with the query designer, no need to go into SQL. See the screenshot below: Steve McCormick, ITIL CA Technologies Principal Services Consultant Stephen.McCormick@ca.com <mailto:Stephen.McCormick@ca.com>

No, the only way to prevent this dialog is to create your package such that it does not output to the screen. This should be the normal for software delivery packages anyway, they should run silent, with no dialogs or questions for the user, and write their output to a log file, preferably using the $rf variable as the output file as this file…
As a test, from the domain manager, try accessing \\NOMAN-PC\admin$, in order to simulate what the deployment wizard is doing. If/when prompted for credentials, provide the same user account that you are specifying in the deployment wizard, and see if you get an access denied error. If Windows doesn't prompt you for credentials when you browse…

I know NSM Event Management is quite old, but: It is still a great tool, and we could use it in a project. I remember NSM needed to install some components on the SQL server. Is this true for "Event Management Only" too? I yes I am afraid we won't be able to use it... Can someone suggest an alternative? Tasks: On several servers, react on…(Show moreShow less)
After upgrading to 14 SP2, we noticed that DSM Explorer reacts more slowly. Also, before SP2 (=GA), we could perform several parallel OSIM installation (beside the OS, a lot of SW packages are being delivered to the clients). Now we notice a general slowness. The MDB is remote, but this is not causing the delays. We experience the same issues…(Show moreShow less)
