I have a bizarre situation where there are some processes, 8 of them that are showing in the chart but are not being shown in the table below the chart. See: When looking in the database I've found these operations: Any Ideas as to how i might be able to abort or clean up these processes?
I hesitate to say that it is ok to do this as updating the database is something we in support generally shy away from without buy-in from level 2. You can easily render a system useless modifying the database directly and make it impossible to recover. That being said, this seems like it should correct the garbage data you are seeing. If you…
Currently there is not an out of the box operator that would trigger the CSAT surveys from Catalog. When designing processes in PAM, it is best to think of PAM as a “pull” product and not a “push” product. If you need to get data into PAM, there are infinitely more options if you make PAM do the work to get the data (pull) rather than trying to…
At present all ITPAM agents hardcode the ip address into the Domain.xml file. Most infrastructure is now virtual and we often find ourselves having to move virtual machines for a number of reasons. This means the IP changes for the host - can this IP not be dynamically discovered and populated when the service is started?
Hi all, it's possible to integrate CA SDM and CA PAM without CA EEM? We have CA SDM and we would like to start using CA PAM. But, we don't want to use CA EEM for authentication our users (we will use our AD). It is possible scenario or we need CA EEM? We know, that CA EEM is necessery for CA PAM. So we'll just install it and that's all. We have…(Show moreShow less)
CA Process Automation requires EEM, but EEM is not required for the integration between Service Desk and CA Process Automation. EEM can be setup to use your Active Directory, and Process Automation can be setup to do NTLM against those users.
I propose that processes always switch process status on completion as a default. I am not sure why one would ever not what to Switch Process Status on Completion, but if this is needed it should be an option on the ticket, not the default behavior when a process is suspended. Currently, every time I suspend a process, "Switch Process Status on…
1. Do changes to the file on the Domain Orchestrator propagate to any other load balanced orchestrator in the environment or do I have to edit the file on all orchestrators and agents in the environment? 2. Does the orchestrator service need to be restarted on the Domain orchestrator or any orchestrator after an edit to the properties file?
Changes to the oasisconfig.properties file are not propagated across in a clustered environment, so changes must be made to the file on each server. A restart is required for those changes to be read - again, each server must be restarted.
Attach_example_ServiceDesk.zip contains an example of how we can use IT PAM SOAP Client Operator to create Attachments in Service Desk Manager. We have to use SOAP Client Operator as the Base SDM Operator does not have options to add SOAP attachment parameters.
IRF Question: I'm trying to add a custom image file to the form element "Image". I found a doc pointing me to add https://....../images/filename to the URL field. There are multiple images folders, where do I put my custom image file so it will display on the IRF?
