CA Technologies is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. In order to focus our development efforts and to help our customer base achieve their strategic business initiatives, we are investing our resources in new technology and software and have decided to stabilize and End of Life CA Data Protection (formerly CA DataMinder) in accordance with our CA Support Policy and Terms (https://support.ca.com).

Please consider this Document as the written notification of stabilization of CA Data Protection effective July 27, 2017 and End of Life of CA Data Protection effective June 30, 2019. Stabilization of CA Data Protection means that there will be no future enhancements, Versions, Releases, development or Service Packs, but all other CA Support features remain in effect. Technical support will be discontinued June 30, 2019.  After June 30, 2019, CA Technologies will continue to make self-service support available until the end of your current maintenance term.

All currently supported versions of CA Data Protection will be supported until the End of Life effective date. CA Data Protection versions r14.5 and r14.6 which were announced End of Service effective September 7, 2017 and March 1, 2018, respectively, will now be supported until June 30, 2019.

Extended Support may be available, upon approval from CA Support, for software product versions or releases that have reached their End of Life Date.
