Hi everyone,

My current test environment have the following detail

1 - Clarity Version = 12.1.2
2 - SQL Server 2008 Enterprise
3 - Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise

I want to do a product upgrade from my current version to 13.1

I noticed that java version / application server (tomcat) have different versions between 12.1 / 13.1

My JAVA_HOME environment variable is pointing to C:\APP\jdk1.6.0_22

Therefore when I tries to install Java required, I have two options:

1 - Remove current Java version and then Install 1.7
2 - Install Java 1.7 without remove 1.6

My questions:

1 - If I installed 1.7 without remove 1.6, I can use the same folder where is installed 1.6? (C:\APP\jdk1.6.0_22)
The above is for no have that change JAVA_HOME PATH (environment variable)

2 - Which is recommended or your experiences?
#Option 1: Remove Java 1.6 / Install 1.7 in different folder / update JAVA_HOME variable environment
#Option 2: Remove Java 1.6 / Install 1.7 in the same folfer
#Option 3: Install Java 1.7 without remove 1.6 using the same folder where Java 1.6 is installed
#Option 4: Install Java 1.7 withouth remove 1.6 using different folder

Thanks for your advice,
Cheers
