A resource under Administration / System Users can have a status Active, Inactive or Locked. See below according to manual the meaning.

Defines the status for the resource.

Active—Activates and enables the resource for assignment projects.
Inactive—Deactivates and prevents the resource from being assigned to projects unless the filter is set to display inactive resources.
Lock—Prevents the resource from logging in to CA Clarity PPM.

Then you have under Resource Management / Resources view a column that shows Active (Yes or No)

I just want to confirm / clarify the following:

If you have your e-mail notifications on and you asign a resource on a project. If the status is Locked, but the resource is active - is a notification suppose to be sent out to the resource or not?

Thank you
