Hi Folks,

A day late is better than nothing, right?

Since Shawn is out of the office today, I have been asked to fill in for my little brother! :happy

For those of you using Clarity with Microsoft Project (MSP), you have most likely encountered the dreaded Microsoft Winproj.exe error and MSP crash when exporting a project from Clarity to MSP. A likely cause of this error (especially for large plans) is that the JRE has run out of memory as the default is set to 64 Megs.

Here are instructions on how to increase the Java Memory limit to 256 on the client workstation.

Instructions on changing the Java Memory Limit for MSP

1. Go to the registry. Click on Start > Run and type in “regedit”
2. Navigate to the HKCU\niku\schedulers\MSPOptions
3. Right click the MSPOptions folder and select New>String Value
4. Change the name to “JavaMemoryLimit
5. Change the value data to “256

Did you also know that we now support MSP 2010 in Clarity 12.1.1?

Have a great "Tuesday", especially since it's really Wednesday!
