Hi, I wanted to add a custom attribute to Risk object. It is based on resources lookup (Browse Resource). I want to have default value as current user like Manager attribute in project Object. How to do it? Thanks,-Naman.

I too would like to know how to do this.I used the Manager attribute in the Project object as a guideline. It lists "Current User" as the default value against the Resource Browse lookup. There is a foonote that says "( This value is derived from a macro, it is not fixed )". When I clicked on the binoculars to open the browse, I could not find a selection for "Current User". I also tried experimenting with setting the default value tag in XML to "Current User" in an attribute creation XOG. Does anyone know how to get "Current User" into the default value box of a custom attribute lookup?ThanksBeekerC

Naman, In the lookup - nsql which is pointing to the custom attribute you can add this and show the name of the PM or RM. where manager_id = @WHERE:PARAM:USER_ID@ In the object -custom attribute you can choose an default .(It will be the user who logged in) and select "Presence Required". cheers, sundar
