How to monitoring an URL like that : http://apw10sddf.local:8888/jws_prod/suite_prod.jnlp
There are a couple facts about your URL that you will need to know.
Did you want Real End User (CEM), Application Server Performance (APM) or synthetic user (WTG/URLMontior/custom/cloud) driving the application?
If you want CEM, you will need to have the network traffic mirrored at the switch to a Gigamon or like device then that traffic to the TIM, which you can then record the transaction.
If you want APM, is the application hosted within a Java or .NET application server? Is it hosted on Apache?
Hope the questions helps clarify your question.
And if, as Billy suggests, you want synthetic user transactions, this community site has plenty of instructions for the CA product Cloud Monitor: Create Basic Monitors for Synthetic Monitoring of your web applications in less than 3 minutes!
