When Ever my XML response is Huge, Lisa gets stuck and i'm unable to anything until i restart lisa. It takes too much time to respond. Can any one please tell us if there is any way to overcome this.
Thanks in advance
If there are large number of transactions in LISA image file, it becomes really slow to open and deploy. The last time we had a similar problem where we had to store large number of transactions in a single image file, we were given the solution of storing the XML responses outside of LISA. The service only had a model file, which then read the responses from the XML files stored outside of LISA. The key (matching params) can be set to be the file name for the XML's. Based on the incoming params, we can pick the correct file and then read the response from it.
Thanks for the quick response !
How can we store the XMl response outside LISA , and what actually is a Model file(Is it the .tst file which we create in model editor with various steps). Sorry I'm a newbie.
We are not using any virtualisation , we were just doing Webservice Testing.
We are facing this problem when we call a webservice using a Rest step and the service return huge XML response.
