Hi all, I just got this error (HTTP Status 500 - The server encountered an internal error that prevented it from fulfilling this request.) when I tried to enter in CA PPM login page, Does anyone know what happened ?
For problems like this, there are application log files that would need to be examined (in a Tomcat environment, $NIKU_HOME/logs/app-ca.log and $NIKU_HOME/logs/app-system.log) to locate a relevant cause of a problem.
Also if the UI Themes in Clarity have been modified recently just before it seemed to break, you may also end up with a problem serious enough to prevent the rendering of any page (including the login page).
In both cases, there is a good chance you should log an issue with Support to help investigate, providing the log files if it's not an OnDemand environment along with a time and date of an occurrence when you tried to connect and received this response. If the themes have been corrupted, Support can help to reset your system back to the default one via database updates to give you a chance to get back in and correct any custom one you may have been using/trying.
What do you see in the app logs ?
Hi navzjoshi00, I´m getting this screen:
It is used to be like this:
Can you please login to CSA and check the database status.
Just make sure that the app and bg services are not stopped. And, if yes, they need to be restarted.
Were you able to resolve this as per the suggestions from SumanPramanik and nick_darlington ?
Yes I was able to resolve the problem, thanks to all who supported me.
