Hi

With the following record

RECORD ELEMENT IS,USER-SWITCHES,VERSION 1

LINE IS 004900

LEVEL NUMBER IS 03

PICTURE IS  X(0001)

USAGE IS BIT

BIT LENGTH IS 16

BIT OFFSET IS 0     MASK IS X'00'

POSITION IS 211

OCCURS 16 TIMES

In a culprit program I wish to only to keep those records greater binary zeroes.

I obviously do not understand culprit handling of binary values as everything I try fails,

I believed this to work.

  IF USER-SWITCHES.3 NE 0 TAKE

I know such records exists

KEY                    SWITCH

037BNX

0MBNQT                      1

7MZ5K9

Could someone please educate me on culprit binary comparison?

Rob
