I have a situation where machine 1 polls machine 2’s power state, and if the power goes down, 1 also errors on two important services having gone down on 2. When the power comes back up on machine 2, the power error is cleared from the script polling on 1, but the service errors attempt to be cleared locally from 2. Unfortunately, these do not clear. Since suppression works on a robot-by-robot basis, and it seems impossible to change the robot in a message, I tried firing a trigger off 1's open error and 2's clear, but the trigger won't fire on a clear.
Is there a viable way to spoof suppression so that I can close an alert that is clearing from another box?
