Alive gateway

The alivegtw probe is a daemon probe that attaches to a queue and forwards the messages to VMware VC OPS (ex. EMC Alive), referred to as “Alive” in the following.
The incoing QoS data is split up by the monitored resource and stored in “buckets” that contain qos-data for a monitored resource (e.g. one server).
The data in a bucket is posted on to Alive after a configurable amount of seconds. In the event of a crash, the data is persisted on the harddisk.
