Multiple pre-processing scripts on one alarm

We have multiple pre-processing scripts defined, and any one alarm may match the criteria for multiple pre-processing scripts.

However, it seems only the first matching script is running. It's possible something else is going on, but is this the case? Does only the first matching pre-processing rule execute on the alarm?

How can I get the functionality I'm looking for? We have a script that runs on just about every alarm, as well as scripts that run only on specific types of alarms. Currently, only the general script is running on all messages. If I go into that general pre-processing rule, and exclude a specific subsystem, the next script in the list does run on that excluded subsystem.

How can I get a new alarm to execute any and all matching pre-processing rules.
