Trying to configure LISA registry path to local file.
You can use check box to automatically connect to the registry on start-up.. As shown below:
and If you want to run it locally You can use Lisa DevPack version where you need to run registry locally.
Thanks for replying,
In my case registry is located on server not in local, and every time on startup it ask for Registry and it credentials to connect ,
Is there any way we can configure the details in LISA and it get connected automatically just by lunching LISA,
Don't think it matter if the Registry is local or remote, that checkbox should do the trick....unless I am missing something that you are trying.
If you have ACL configured, it will ask for the password everytime even thought it will connect to registry automatically on launch when you select the checkbox. Are you looking for a remember password type functionality?
Yes I am looking for remember password type functionality. Is there any way to configure registry and it credentials in any file?
Hi Pankaj Yadav,
For Security reasons - no. However, you can always add this to the Ideas tab and present a business case as to why this is important. Just as a thought, if they were put into a file, it would defeat the Access Challenge from appearing, thus, nullifying security. Most organizations are now requiring that we supply this type of security.
