I am trying to configure LISA VSE licence to LISA, But it is not taking the licenese?
Question: How do you launch a VSE Server as a Windows Service with a different local.properties?
1. Create a new text file in LISA_HOME/bin called VirtualServiceEnvironmentService.vmoptions.
2. Edit the file, and add this line:
(tweak the path accordingly)
3. Restart the VSE service. It should now be using the local.properties that you specified.
You can do the same thing with any LISA executable in the bin directory. Just make an exename.vmoptions file and put the JVM options you want in the file (one option per line). The vmoptions files are used to pass additional parameters to a Java process in order to modify the default settings used for the JVM. These files can be used to customize the memory allocation settings for each of the LISA processes used in the server. These files must be located on the same folder as the actual executable scripts and must have the same name, with the exception of the extension (.vmoptions).
These files are located at LISA_HOME\bin folder.

Some important things to know:
If you do NOT have a wst.local.properties file, the Workstation will pick up it attributes from the local.properties file. If the local.properties file contains a LISA Server license, typically the VSE is diabled, and a Workstation brought up on the Server will not have VSE enabled. In this case, point the workstation.vmoptions file to the vse.local.properties file to pick up the VSE's Server Workstation license attributes.
To see if you can figure out what license you are using, look into the Workstation, Help, LISA Runtime Info and see if all the options are set that yoiu are expecting.
Please explain How you are trying to configure? What error you are getting ?
I have installed LISA, and kept the License files in bin folder
wst.local.properties, and vse.local.properties files for lisa workstation and VSE licenses respectively.
and configured the path of these files in workstation.vmoptions and registry.vmoptions files respectively.
After that i tried to launch LISA, and found lisa workstation working and VSE not.
You can configure the workstation license in wst.local.properties (and configure LISAWorkstation.vmoptions to point to this file), and the vse license in local.properties itself.
