LISA is not returning the proper response.

Question asked by alisy05 Employee on May 8, 2015

1)

LISA is not returning the proper response. I have similar transactions with different values. When I execute one transtaction, it returns differnt transaction response:

Example: Transaction request and response stored in virtual service:

Transaction request:

<?xml version="1.0" ?><SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><SOAP-ENV:Body><createObject xmlns="http://www.ca.com/UnicenterServicePlus/ServiceDesk"><sid>125491611</sid><objectType>bmhier</objectType><attrVals><string>id</string><string>400083</string><string>child</string><string>07BF916E60B38A4E8866FDD7AEDAEDDB</string><string>ci_rel_type</string><string>300006</string><string>description</string><string>Create Relationship with id</string><string>parent</string><string>13892D44A947974FB777F57BB9582EB9</string></attrVals><attributes><string>child</string><string>id</string><string>last_mod_by</string><string>last_mod_dt</string><string>ci_rel_type</string><string>description</string><string>delete_flag</string><string>parent</string></attributes><createObjectResult></createObjectResult><newHandle></newHandle></createObject></SOAP-ENV:Body></SOAP-ENV:Envelope>

Transaction output:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"><soapenv:Body><soapenv:Fault><faultcode>soapenv:Client</faultcode><faultstring>Error setting attr 'id' on object '{{=request_objectType;/*bmhier*/}}:{{=request_attrVals_string_2;/*400083*/}}' to value '{{=request_attrVals_string_2;/*400083*/}}' Unknown message VLAT:PAT:MTH: set_val .</faultstring><faultactor></faultactor><detail><ErrorMessage>Error setting attr 'id' on object '{{=request_objectType;/*bmhier*/}}:{{=request_attrVals_string_2;/*400083*/}}' to value '{{=request_attrVals_string_2;/*400083*/}}' Unknown message VLAT:PAT:MTH: set_val .</ErrorMessage><ErrorCode>1003</ErrorCode></detail></soapenv:Fault></soapenv:Body></soapenv:Envelope>

However, when executed from lisa scripts:

Input send from NIM to Virtual service:

{"dependentCIID":"07BF916E60B38A4E8866FDD7AEDAEDDB","description":"Create Relationship with id","id":"400083","providerCIID":"13892D44A947974FB777F57BB9582EB9","relationshipType":"Connects To",}

Response sent from virtual Service:

{

"d" : {

"__metadata" : {

"uri" : "http://hansh05-test-01:8080/ca-nim-cm/odata/default/v1/Relationship('400562')", "type" : "com_ca_integration_normalization_omodule_cmdb_models.Relationship"

}, "id" : "400562", "relationshipType" : "Connects To", "updatedTimeStamp" : "2015-05-08T11:11:06+05:30", "description" : "1", "updatedByUserID" : "ServiceDesk", "providerCIID" : "13892D44A947974FB777F57BB9582EB9", "dependentCIID" : "07BF916E60B38A4E8866FDD7AEDAEDDB"

}

}

Observation: If you observe, the input send from the LISA is same as that of transaction request stored in virtual service, however the response sent is different to that of response stored in virtual service.

2) Also, while recording most of the transactions does not get recorded. Basically, for the transactions whose input requests parameters are similar with different values but the response is different from transaction to transaction.
