Hi,

We are trying to add roles to task through xog. Below is the xml.

<NikuDataBus xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="../xsd/nikuxog_project.xsd">

  <Header action="write" externalSource="NIKU" objectType="project" version="6.0.11"/>

  <Projects>

  <Project name="Project Enhancement" projectID="PROJ-029">

  <Tasks>

  <Task chargeCodeExtID="995" evCalcMethod="0" finish="2015-08-10T17:00:00" fixed="false" key="true" lockedForScheduling="false"

          milestone="false" name="Business Enhancements" openForTimeEntry="true" orderID="10" outlineLevel="1" percComp="0.0"

          start="2015-01-13T08:00:00" status="1" summary="false" taskID="S001">

  <Assignments>

  <TaskLabor actualWork="0" estPattern="3" finish="2015-01-15T17:00:00" remainingWork="68.0536" resourceID="analyst"

              roleID="analyst" start="2015-01-15T08:00:00" teamId="ipc" unpostedActuals="0">

  <EstCurve>

  <Segment finish="2015-01-15T17:00:00" start="2015-01-15T08:00:00" sum="68.0536"/>

  </EstCurve>

  <ActCurve/>

  </TaskLabor>

  </Assignments>

  </Task>

  </Tasks>

  </Project>

  </Projects>

</NikuDataBus>

Xog Status is success, however, the role is not added to task. When we tried along with the Resource tag (given below), the role was added to the task.

<Resources>

  <Resource projectRoleID="analyst" resourceID="analyst" teamId="analyst"/>

  </Resources>

Is there a way to add roles to task without using the Resource tag?

Thanks,

Jana
