Can anyone have a SQL that I can use to get project>> task level actuals vs allocations in clarity?
Please let me know.
Have you checked the prassignment table ?
Can you please let me know If Allocations are by project level and not task level.
If its task level, How do I get task level allocations? Is it PRTEAM table or any other table?
There are no task level allocations in CA PPM.
Allocations are how much the resources are booked or reserved to projects and the amounts are in prteam table.
The resources are assigned to task and a work effort may be given and actuals recorded.
As allocations are at project level and assignments are task level there is no connection between them.
Of course there is an exception, if there is only the effort task in the project there are the allocate from estimates and estimate from allocations functionalities which transfer the effort one way or the other.
When there is only the effort task there is no problem in the division of the allocation to the tasks as there is only one.
That functionality is there even if you have more tasks than just the effort, but it only works for the effort task and leaves the other tasks intact..
To compare allocations with actuals or ETC you would have to collect the data from two different places.
For tasks we normally look at ETC, the total ETC per assignment (a unique resource on a unique task) is stored on prassignment.prescsum (stored in seconds so divide it by 3600 to get minutes), the time based ETC is stored in a curve and you would need to query the time slices.
