How TIM takes in network data for end user monitoring?
Is there any built-in Netflow Collector comes with TIM software?
Please respond as soon as possible,
The TIM is using network packet collection, typically via a SPAN/mirror port or a TAP.
NetFlow is completely different. It is actually a protocol. NetFlow data is a set of interface performance data exported by routers. CA's NetFlow collector is CA Network Flow Analysis.
It is a separate function not connected to the TIM software. NetFlow data is unsuitable for the conversation re-assembly that CEM performs with the network packets.
You can see network data with CEM defects with integration. Is this what you are talking about?
Through a mirrored port, or a network tap.
