Dear Sir:

Could you show me how to setup snmpd service on Unix and Linux ? I had followed below action to setup snmpd and used UIM interface_traffic probe to poll it. But I can't get any snmp information. I had tied to check it by snmp tool . It show me it has on snmp connectivity .

My snmp setup procedure:

    01. vi /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf

   02. # com2sec notConfigUser default public

             com2sec local localhost public

             com2sec mynetwork 192.168.1.0/24 public

03. group notConfigGroup v1 notConfigUser 這一段,然後改成如下所示

## group.name sec.model sec.name

group MyRWGroup any v1 local

group MyRWGroup any v2C local

group MyROGroup any v1 mynetwork

group MyROGroup any v2C mynetwork

#

04. view all included .1 80

## incl/excl subtree mask

view all included .1 80

05. #access MyROGroup "" any noauth 0 all none none :

#access MyROGroup "" any noauth 0 all none none

#access MyRWGroup "" any noauth 0 all all all

access MyROGroup "" any noauth prefix all none none

access MyRWGroup "" any noauth prefix all all all

07.

#proc mountd

proc snmpd

proc vsftpd

08.

#disk / 10000

Disk / 15%

cd /etc/init.d

check snmpd (ps -ef |grep snmpd)

service snmpd status

service snmpd start
