Can we do the testing of Dynamic Queues created by TIBCO in DevTest?
If I understand what you mean by "dynamic queues", then yes. Rather than using the 'JMS JNDI Queue' asset and giving a JNDI name for the queue, just use the 'JMS Queue' asset and give it a name. When used in a test, if a queue with that name does not already exist then it will be created "dynamically" by TIBCO.
Thank you for your response. I tried to connect to TIBCO using "Direct JMS" asset but all TIBCO BW and BE applications are deployed in L1 Environment.
So, I wasn't able to use that asset. Rather I tried using "TIBCO EMS Messaging " asset. The queue is logically present in the L1 environment and has data
and when I am trying to test using "TIBCO EMS Messaging " asset I get the following error:
"javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: ; remaining name 'fxClientDestinationUID=D.FXGSHIP.SEFS.BSC.COREZONE.V1'".
Please guide !
I am attaching the screen shots of error and the CA DevTest Step for clarity in the doc.
Please have a look.
Thanks and regards,
What is this? It looks like you are using a custom JNDI Context. I may not be able to help you here. Do you have some sample Java code from your application that is able to successfully perform a lookup using this JNDI context?
Also, you appear to be using the old JMS steps. What version of DevTest do you have?
Yes, it is a custom JNDI and using this JNDI I am able to perform testing of static queues but not for dynamic ones which are in the testing environment.
The developers have the code in TIBCO BW applications for the connection to JNDI.
Currently, I am using DevTest 8.0.2 version.
