Quick question on folder monitoring in CA UIM

if there is a requirement to monitor application path and if it finds *.pos files sits for more than 30 mins then it has to generate ticket from CA UIM since it is integrated with CA ServiceDesk  Is there any probe to monitor this directly or Can we invoke any shell scripts and based on the output value in script can generate alert
