How do you get rid of tasks when they're showing as "Exception Thrown"? When I try to "reply" and complete the form it just creates a new Task with the title of "Exception Thrown".
I was able to check the box to the left of the task and click "Open Process Instance". Once it opened, I aborted the process and it in turn canceled the task.
If you want to add some more friendly method of handling exceptions I'd recommend reviewing the PAM components of the Content Pack for ITIL CA Service Desk Manager - CA Service Management - 14.1 - CA Technologies Documentation . Most of the content is of course oriented towards CA Service Management, but the exception handling framework in the PAM component is a great example of how you can gracefully deal with the unexpected.
