Getting iteration variables to create an iteration burndown chart (Rally Ruby API)

Question asked by 198d3570e9ffbc8cd64e7ec603fa0f07 on Jun 20, 2016
I'm trying to get values from the iteration object in the Ruby API ( to create an iteration burndown chart. Specifically, I'm trying to get planned velocity, task actual total, task estimate total, and task remaining total. I already have the iteration object and can access values such as state, start date, and end date. I believe the reason I'm not able to access some of the values is because the documentation states "This attribute cannot be used in queries." Is there any other way to get these values?
Or, is there a different way altogether to obtain values to populate a chart? I might be using the wrong data, so please let me know!

Thanks in advance :)
