Is there a way to link the Timesheet app to the Actuals so there is not duplicate data entry?

I read the help files on the timesheet system and its use in accounting and billing. We are an internal group so we don't need that. It is helpful to quickly capture the data via time sheet. Right now we have the column "Actuals" on the iteration status page so weekly they match up to that. It would be helpful for that to update the actuals since this is the actual time you spend on a task. Seems logical. Any way elimiate the dual data entry?
