Hey Stephanie, I would actually say that using the Custom List app would be infinitely easier to do this. Just add the add, set the work item type to whichever Portfolio Item you want, then add the fields/columns you want, and export!
This works for me, and I get the part of whatever I am exporting, but lose the next parent up. Is there a way to export work item and it's entire hierarchy?
Instead of using export to excel, csv option; You can just use the Print option and then save as html file.
Then open the html file using excel. It imports from Theme to task level all hierarchy % etc.
