Good day. Would like to integrate UIM 8.4 with SNOW ticketing tool and like to convert only major alarms into tickets. Please help me to achieve this.
Create an Auto-Operator profile in your nas where the Action type is Assign, the Assigned to user is the service desk user you have configured with your sdgtw (preferred) or sngtw probe, the Action mode set to on-overdue age of some value, and select the Major alarm option. Save the profile, activate it then apply the changes to the nas.
Now anytime a Major alarm is processed by the nas, it will assign the alarm to the SDuser and generate an alarm_assign message. The queues used by the sdgtw or sngtw probe should be registered to receive these alarms and if the assigned_to user matches the configured user in the gateway probe, this probe will create an incident in the SNow application.
