How to read Version numbering for v10

Discussion created by Jennifer_Jinhong_34 on Apr 19, 2013
New Versioning in V10: x.y.z-pre+build.nnn x = Major (main release) y = Minor (minor release) z = Service Pack (patch) -pre = Pre-Release (optional). For example: -dev (developer build) or -beta (beta version) nnn = Hotfix (build number) Example of a complete version information: 10.2.0-dev+build.23 Major Release: 10 Minor Release: 2 Service Pack: 0 Pre-Release: -dev (=Developer Build) Hotfix: +build.23 More information can be found in the v10 Documentation: Release Notes > Version Indicators for UC4
