Today one of our UC4 staff opened an RA-FTP job and clicked on the FTP tab which of course causes it to log on to the remote FTP server so it can display a current file list.
However the remote datacenter sent us an alarm that we had created a file on their system with an unacceptable file name. The file name they reported was ".tmp_uc4_control_timestampfile_8939636".
I assume this is some sort of cookie file that RA-FTP creates on the remote server? Can anyone explain its function and whether or not it is suppressible?
