Is it possible to connect the Automation Engine to an Agent via SSL?
I'm not sure about SSL, I think that's more on the networking side.
The information and connection between the AE and Agents are already encrypted and require an authentication key defined during the first connection.
There is additional options for 'Advanced Security' that might fill your need:
Here's more info about the UC_AS_SETTINGS variable:
We would also like to be able to enforce mutual certificate-based authentication of network connections between the Automation Engine and Agents. We have found that the proprietary system currently implemented is not foolproof.
Here is just one example: if due to human error, an Automation Engine mistakenly attempts to connect to an agent that is already connected to another AE, it will interrupt the existing connection without warning.
how should this happen? Can you give some details?
