Naming convention for Informatica WF and Session log in Informatica job

Discussion created by Christine_Chavez_6412 on Dec 6, 2016

When you run an Informatica job, you would usually see the WorkFlow and Session log (depending if the job is configured to pull this) in the job report, like so:

It shows WK_Test_Workflow_Success_85_Workflow01.log.1325371.85.20161103101012 (WWF1).

The format for that is:

WK_[Workflow name]_[RunID]_[Workflow Log File Name]_[RunInstanceName]_[dateTimeRan]
Note: prefix is SE_  for Session log

So in the  Report, you would see the Workflow name,  RunID, and RunInstanceName there:

3)     Drag the workflow to Workflow Designer
4)     Right-click on WF Designer, select Edit Workflow/Worklet
5)     Go to Properties tab
