A user sees this type of error when they try to restart a filetransfer Job (JOBF):

U0063079 ??? "*********|C:\Automic\Agents\Windows\TEMP\\***.sts|0|2 - The system cannot find the file specified.

What does this error mean?

This error message usually happens when the Destination grabs the temp file and moves it before Automic can rename the file name.

Go to the Destination agent's .ini file and make this change:


Once the changes are saved, bounce the agent.

According to the documentation,

This parameter creates temporary files in FileTransfers.
Allowed values: yes (default value) and no
yes = The file obtains a temporary name which is composed of the letter T and an alphabetic string that originates from the RunID. The new FileTransfer protocol additionally appends a file ID in order to obtain a unique file name because basically, only a RunID is provided. The file is renamed after it has successfully been transferred.
no = The Agent assigns the final file name when the FileTransfer starts.
