The correct way to transfer Members onto a AS'400 with a RA FTP Agent

AS400 objects are organized in libraries. Libraries contains physical files and finally these files contain members. Members are containers for text, program code, more or less what we understand as files in the Windows or Linux-like world. In IFS nomenclature to design a member we would use the following expression : 

<LIBRARY_NAME>.LIB/<FILE_NAME>.FILE/<MEMBER_NAME>.MBR

But in a FTP context, to transfer a similar object the correct naming will be :

<LIBRARY_NAME>/<FILE_NAME>.<MEMBER_NAME>

The object extension will not be used and as a separator between file and member name we will no longer user a '/' but a '.'. This is a the reason, why when configuring a RA FTP tasks to transfer a member object to a AS400 host, this naming rule will be used.
