Can we deploy agent using Virtual Host name instead of IP address

We are running unix agent on IP 10.12.X.X and when this VM switches over it gets a new IP 192.168.X.X. Due to this we cannot start he agent automatically.
IP change is handled with BIG IP F5. Out virtual hostname remains the same so instead of IP we want agent should use the virtual hostname.
Please let us know can we do it?

This can probably be achieved by setting a bind IP address in the agent's ini file:
