We are planning to upgrade the Automic ARA/AE database instance. The Prod change will involve patching the primary, secondary and DR node from the current version of MSSQL 2014 SQL Server 2014 - 12.0.4100.1 (X64) to the new version SQL 2014 SP2 12.0.5203.0
i.e. Upgrade SQL Server 2014 SP1 to SQL Server 2014 SP2 + Security hot fix.

We already have the following version on Test Environment and working fine.

Microsoft SQL Server 2014 (SP2-GDR) (KB3194714) - 12.0.5203.0 (X64) Sep 23 2016 18:13:56
Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation
Standard Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)

Do you see any constraint/bottleneck for Automic Application because of this version upgrade?
Hi,

There should not be any issues to perform this action.
Just ensure the services (AE server processes and IIS) have been stopped before performing the patching activity.

Best regards,
Antoine
