any suggestions about how can i copy all the stored queries from one server to another?
you can export/import data using pdm_extract/pdm_userload, example:
pdm_extract -f "select * from Cr_Stored_Queries" > crsq.txt
pdm_userload -f crsq.txt
Thnx cdtj for your reply, so its ok to do this operation between two different SDM environment?!
Yeah but I highly recommend to check this guide Database Loader - CA Service Management - 14.1 - CA Technologies Documentation to prevent possible data loss caused by data overwrite.
Something to keep in mind is that data stored in SDM contains id keys and persid values. These values can overlap across different sets of records. In this case, an entry in SDM install #1 with a persid of crsq:1234 can also exist in SDM install #2 with a completely different set of values, except for an identical persid.
If you are insistent on copying such data between installs, please take a backup of the table content. Better yet, do a partial extract from the source install (pdm_extract -f "Select description, code, del, label, obj_type, criteria from Cr_Stored_Query" > query1.dat) and then load the content into the target install using the "-i" flag for insert (pdm_load -i -f query.dat)
