Metrics for LDAP queries

Hi All,

I'd like to gather metrics for my ldap queries, but can't get it to work with a PBD. I'm using one of the search methods on the interface javax.naming.directory.DirContext. Because we don't have hierarchy support enabled, I used the remote debugger to see that the concrete class used is javax.naming.directory.InitialDirContext. I created the following PBD, which was loaded without errors, but I don't see the new metric show up:

SetFlag: LDAP
IdentifyMatchingClassesAs: javax.naming.directory.InitialDirContext LDAP
TraceOneMethodWithParametersIfFlagged: LDAP search BackendMarker "Backends|LDAP|{packageandclassname}|{method}|{0}"
TurnOn: LDAP

There are several search methods. I did try specifying the fully-qualified method name, but it didn't seem to make a difference.

What can I change with my PBD? Is there some automagic way to enable LDAP query metrics similar to JDBC? I supposed it's possible the server Wily is monitoring is using a different DirContext impl than the one I'm using locally. (OS is different but jvm is the same.)

thanks

john
