Linked-to dialogs in Perfmon reports

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Sep 26, 2005
Under what circumstances, if any, does Performance Monitor list
linked-to dialogs separately on the reports? If they are are not
tracked separately, are the linked-to statistics included in the numbers
for the calling dialogs?

ENDEVOR/DB usage
"We have been using ENDEVOR/DB for a while as the code promotion tool for
a couple of our applications. We are now convinced our largest
application to use it. Our previous applications promoted using only
the date range criteria. There has been no attempt to use the CCID or
User locking features. I would be interested in hearing other sites
success/failure stories on utilizing these ENDEVOR /DB features.

Thanks.

Jim

Re: Help with PERFMON Information
"Bill -

As strange as it may sound, I want to say that the DML code in PerfMon
is relative to one and those listed in the guide are relative to zero
(or maybe the other way around). I remember going through this a few
years ago and that's the only way I could get the PerfMon info to make
sense.

Please take this with a grain of salt, however, as I don't have any of
my doc with me and haven't been home in a month (since Hurricane Katrina
went by New Orleans), so I'm probably not firing on all synapses to
start with. Besides, there are others in this group with vastly
superior knowledge of this product than the pithy amount I posses, and I
happily yield to their better judgment.

I figured I'd throw it out there just in case it's helpful, though.

Best,

Mike Champagne
