Index Cleanup

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Dec 12, 2005
Hi Listers,
I am hoping someone can save me from re-inventing the wheel.

I have been asked to write a program that kicks off IDMS's orphan
adoption process. (IDMS will automatically adopt index orphans under
certain circumstances). At a previous employer, I had a program that
would do this and we would run it weekly to clean up indexes.

Does anyone have an existing program they would be willing to share?

Thanks in advance for any help.

What if you don't have OLQ? Does anyone have an alternative approach?
