View ID on subschema record

Discussion created by ca.portal.admin on Feb 8, 2007
Does anyone out in IDMS-L land use view's on subschema records?
Specifically it is the VIEW ID parm on the RECORD statement within the
subschema definition.

Is there any noticeable overhead on the CV or on a batch job?

Have you run into any problems?

Do you have any advice on using this parm?

Thanks in advance for any help and comments.

Re: External run units
"Gary,

My understanding us that CHECK USER TASK is for batch only. Used for
abend detection so if you are CICS then MAX ERUS can be much higher then
CHECK USER TASK.
