Chris,

You need to use the Batch Simulater.
It is described in IDMS System Operations appendix E (for release 17,
for
release 16 it is in appendix F).

good morning mr. phelps - oops - wrong email

good morning IDMS listees

i am writing a mapless ADS dialog for testing
the last command in the ADS premap<?> is LEAVE

i am invoking ADS XXXXXXXX from RHDCUCFB

and getting the following error

PREVIOUS TASK ABENDED WITH ABEND CODE D002 AND MESSAGE CODE 170005
IDMS DC170005 V23 CA ADS ABEND. MAPOUT ERROR FOR MENU SCREEN

when i execute online (which I suppose i could do

i get a map that looks like this

CA ADS RELEASE 17.0 PAGE: 1
DIALOG SELECTION FOR USER: NO USER SIGNED ON

ENTER DIALOG NAME: OR SELECT ONE BELOW

NO DIALOGS QUALIFY FOR MENU; ENTER DIALOG NAME.

PA1 - PAGE FORWARD
PA2 - PAGE BACK
CLEAR - EXIT CA ADS

is there a command in the ADS dialog that will take me directly to ENTC
or
- at least to supress this map
or do i need to run in simulation mode and deal with the map that way ?

thanks

Hi peanut gallery friends, :-)

One of my users is a heavy batch Intertest user and received the
following message/abend:

IDMS DC999999L MODULE CAMRTPGM BLDL FAILED =20

Any of you have any idea what's going on here?  I asked him to have the
Interest people open a problem, but I don't know if he did or will.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Dick
