I took the cowardly way out and did the new copy at 5 a.m. this morning. T=
he resource categories are now acting as they should.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my question. I never would have guesse=
d that varying new copy on RHDCSRTT would force in the changes to the resou=
rce categories. I hope you can excuse my slowness in understanding what yo=
u were telling me!

Other useful things I learned from this project
"I learned some other new things toTo:

1) You can call IDMSOCF from a DC-COBOL program. This is explained in Appendix A of the Common Facilities Guide. The sample program is very helpful.

2) The security manual says, ""To display user information, you must hold SYSADMIN privilege."" But this is not true. The statement below not only allows user USER1 to display user information without SYSADMIN privilege, it also restricts this to user names beginning with ""T123"".

GRANT DISPLAY ON USER T123* TO USER1;
