PAM recovers all Running, Waiting, and Inactive instances during every startup. This insures instances pick back up where they left off when PAM was last shut down. The Recovery tables in the PAM database do NOT require any manual maintenance.

If you have old instances that continue to be in running, waiting, or in inactive states that are no longer needed, it is recommended you complete or abort these process instance.
