Tracking Planned vs Actual Work - Part One

Video created by kurco01 Employee on Mar 20, 2019

This two-part video explains how a 4-way integration between CA Continuous Delivery Director, GitHub, Jenkins, and Agile Central can help release managers track planned vs. actual work in releases. Part One contains an overview and explanation of work item status icons.

This integration helps you identify planned vs. actual work in releases. You can quickly see which work items have entered the CD pipeline and assess risks to timely delivery.  By comparing work item statuses with commit messages from your source control, you can pick up on anomalies such as work items which have been completed but are not marked as done in the Agile tracking tool you use, such as Agile Central or JIRA.
